Water Quality
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) cares for 13 lakes, three streams and one river. These are valuable resources for residents and visitors alike. The MPRB also monitors stormwater runoff and groundwater wells throughout the Park System. Data collected through the water-quality monitoring program is compiled annually into the MPRB Water Resources Report.
