Youth Wrestling is a winter league organized for boys and girls ages 6 to 13. Wrestling is a sport that encourages positive attitudes, builds self-discipline and teaches leadership qualities. It is an opportunity to develop physical strength, technique, coordination, balance and agility while building new friendships. Wrestling is hand to hand contact sport between two unarmed contestants seeking to pin or press each other's shoulders to the ground.
Ready to register? Contact your local Recreation Center directly for youth sport league registration information and details. Only Minneapolis teams are eligible for Youth Sports programs and 80% of team members must live within Minneapolis city limits.
